Match Context: Lyon's show of force in Budapest

For their first-ever home game in the Champions League (2009-2010 season), the Hungarian champions hosted Claude Puel's OL at the Ferenc-Puskás stadium. The Rhone-Alpes side demonstrated their power and sealed the match in the first half. Kim Källström opened the scoring with a superb volley (3rd minute), followed by Miralem Pjanić from an angled free-kick (13th minute) and Sidney Govou with a header (24th minute). After the break, Lyon definitively hammered home their advantage, extinguishing any suspense. In the 51st minute, striker Bafétimbi Gomis capitalized on a superb pass to chip the opposing goalkeeper and complete the victory. Facing an impenetrable French defense, the Hungarians never found a way through and logically succumbed to the visitors' clinical finishing (0-4).
